 Vicki Daigneau spent over 30 years working in IT, and when she retired, she started doing more and more art. She has been doing art in one form or another for over 30 years. She started out doing small quilting projects and sold quite a few at art fairs. About 25 years ago, she took watercolor painting lessons from Albuquerque artist, Gale Waddell, a founding member of NM Watercolor Society. Later, she took Acrylic Painting lessons with local artist, Pat Forbes. She has tried many different mediums since then. She paints in mixed media, watercolor, and acrylic. She developed classes for Junk Mail Journals, and does art journaling. Her favorite thing is to paint papers, using various techniques gleaned from many teachers, and tear it up for collage. Vicki’s art has been in a couple of Albuquerque gallery shows, but the main focus of her life is just to be creative and follow the joy.
