Visual Poetry and Color Exhibition 2
July 27th - September 20th, 2024

After the first exhibition, the works were sent to the Ontological Museum Archives in Albuquerque, New Mexico where the collection of panels were documented, inventoried and published on the  2023 Acquisitions inventory blog.

A second exhibition was arranged in Dallas, Texas at the Ferrari Gallery to open on July 27, 2024 under the curatorial direction of Cecil Touchon, the Museum's director. In between the two shows Touchon put out a new Call for Works to gather works by additional artist/poets and expand the exhibition. At the time of this writing (07.17.24)  59 additional works have been added to the exhibit.

Press Release for the Dallas show:

Visuality has always been a part of the world of poetry and poetic meaning has always been a part of visual art. This exhibition explores the zone between these two fields. Working on wooden panels instead of sheets of paper this exhibition encourages the artistic approach to poetics and many works incorporate the use of collage - a favored medium of the Museum's Archives. Featuring over 100 artworks by U.S. and international artists.

On view through September 20th. Special Lecture scheduled for August 15th.
