At George Washington University, she completed Master’s thesis work on the integration of marbling and serigraphy, winning the Kreeger Award.  Since then she has received a number of other art and design awards, as well as a degree in Ceramics.

Touri lived most of her life in California where she worked as a Graphic Designer, Exhibition Designer and Director of Visual Merchandising for many years.

Later, living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, she continued to pursue her artwork in ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, papermaking and mixed media.  Her work in clay, wood, steel, and paper reveals a primary interest in the cross-cultural expression of color and form on various surfaces.

Touri’s work has been shown in group exhibitions in Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; Los Alamos and Santa Fe, NM; and Fishers, IN and is held in private and public collections.
